Enterprise Global Security Management Software Delivers Network Security Measurement and Awareness

the addition of SecurVantage™ Enterprise Global to its
flagship network security management suite. SecurVantage Enterprise
Global boosts overall network security measurement and awareness
by consolidating data from up to 250 network monitoring points
and presenting it in real-time through a Web-based management
console to reveal the overall network security “health”
and policy compliance.
SecurVantage Enterprise Global works in conjunction with SecurVantage
Enterprise – the monitoring and management console –
giving security architects, network managers, and IT executives
a top-down view of the overall security posture of their networks
in quantitative terms. It also provides security and network
professionals the ability to drill down to specific enterprise
views for event details and alert handling. Using SecurVantage
Enterprise Global, a chief security officer can measure the
extent to which the overall global network is in compliance
with stated policy. Segments of the network that are outside
of policy compliance targets are easily identifiable. Security
and network professionals can then drill down to relevant,
actionable information, such as the security status of the
DMZ, extranet connections or database layers. SecurVantage
Enterprise Global offers role-based access to information,
and scales to support wide-ranging customer deployments due
to the efficiencies inherent in SecurVantage’s fundamental
traffic compliance policy-driven approach.

SecurVantage Enterprise Global is packaged as a turn-key,
1U, Linux-based network security appliance. The SecurVantage
Enterprise Global system works in conjunction with all the
SecurVantage products. Customer-specific policies are developed
within SecurVantage Studio. SecurVantage Monitors captures
network traffic and evaluates it for policy conformance. Detailed
data from the monitors is aggregated and presented in a real-time
view within SecurVantage Enterprise. The SecurVantage Enterprise
Global system further consolidates the data from multiple
SecurVantage Enterprise stations, supporting up to 250 SecurVantage
Monitor points in a single view.
Securify SecurVantage
Securify SecurVantage consists of Securify SecurVantage Studio,
the policy development and analysis environment; Securify
SecurVantage Monitor, the monitoring and compliance system;
and Securify SecurVantage Enterprise, which aggregates and
analyzes relevant data across an enterprise and presents it
in a variety of reports. Using SecurVantage, enterprises can
specify a formal set of requirements network traffic must
comply with - a "policy" describing the "correct"

These reports include violation trends by host group; root
cause analysis of recurring events; total traffic and violations
by type of service; device configuration status; access procedure
compliance; service status by host group; and quality of service
for encryption and password strength.
